ELIGIBILITY, ENTRANCE TEST AND EVALUATION 1) Eligibility for 05-Years Integrated M.Sc Programme: Passed or appeared 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha/CBSE/ICSE or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject / Electronics /Computer Science / Information Technology / Geology / Statistics. The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together. There is no age limit to appear at VSSUT Entrance Test-2025 for admission into 05-Years Integrated M.Sc. courses in Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics. The candidates must submit appropriate course completion certificate from the Head of the Institution, which they last attended, and copies of mark/grade sheets. 2) Subjects for appearing at VSSUT Entrance Test (VET-2025): All candidates seeking admission to 1st year of 5-Years Integrated MSc in any subject shall have to appear an entrance test in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in one sitting as per the standard syllabus of CHSE, Odisha. 3) Examination Procedure / Valuation methodology: There will be multiple choice type questions. Each question shall have four answers (including one correct answer) and the examinee shall have to put a cross mark (X) only on the appropriate answer (which he/she considers most correct) in black / blue ballpoint pen. Each correct answer shall fetch one mark. Each unattempted question will fetch zero. There is no negative marking. If more than one answer is marked for one question, it will be treated as an incorrect answer. 4) Provisional Admission: Candidates who have appeared in their final Examinations, but results have not been declared, may also be provisionally admitted to the 5 Yrs Integrated M.Sc. Programme if otherwise found suitable. However, they shall have to submit the final Mark sheet and pass certificate latest by 30th September 2025, failing which the provisional admission shall be cancelled. |

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM The interested candidates have to fill the online application form using the link: https://eadmission.vssut.ac.in available in University website: www.vssut.ac.in. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) for completing online application form. Duly signed hard copy of the online application along with the relevant documents as mentioned below should reach Dean, PGS&R, VSSUT, Burla, Pin-768018 by 13.06.2025, 1 PM through Speed / Regd. Post only. The envelope containing the application should be super scribed as “Application for 5-Yrs Integrated M.Sc. Programme - 2025”. |

DOCUMENTS TO BE ENCLOSED: 1) Hard copy of duly filled in and signed online application form. 2) Self-Attested copy of certificate of 10th / Equivalent Examination. 3) Self-Attested copy of certificate of +2 Sc. / Equivalent Examination. 4) Self-Attested copy of Grade sheets / Mark sheets of the 10th / Equivalent Examination. 5) Self-Attested copy of Grade sheets / Mark sheets of the +2 Sc. / Equivalent Examination. 6) Self-Attested copy of SC/ST caste certificate, if applicable. 7) The Candidates, who have not passed the final +2 Sc. Examination, but have already appeared the above examination, shall submit the “Final Appeared certificate of +2 Sc. Examination from the Head of institution last attended in original” in place of documents mentioned in Sl. Nos. 3 and 5 and upload the same while filling the online application form. |

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST 1) Candidates will not be admitted into the Examination Hall after the commencement of examination and not allowed to leave the Hall until the end of the examination. 2) No traveling expenses will be paid for journey undertaken for appearing for the Entrance Examination. 3) Adoption of any kind of unfair means at the time of examination or taking part in any act of impersonation will render the applicant liable for cancellation of his/her script and forfeiture of his/her claim for appearing for the examination. Decision of the Convener, Admission shall be final in all these matters. 4) Appearance at the Entrance Examination does not automatically entitle candidate for admission. 5) Mathematical Tables, Calculators, Pagers, Mobile Phones and any other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the Examination Hall. |

ADMISSION PROCEDURE: 1) Online application form along with other relevant documents will be scrutinized by the respective departments. 2) After departmental scrutiny, a merit list will be published in the University website. 3) Candidates will be called for Offline-Counseling-Cum Admission process based on their names in the merit list. 4) Those who fail to attend the Offline-Counseling-Cum Admission on specified date and time, will lose the claim over the seat. It will be presumed that the candidate is not interested to take admission at VSSUT. Hence the seat will be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list. |
